The law firm of Deval Patel-Lennon, Esq., P.A. was founded in 2005. After dedicating herself to years of public service, Deval started her own law practice focusing her skills in the area of real estate law and estate planning. She has expanded the firm's practice by including- among other legal areas- bankruptcy, personal injury, and military law.
Deval Patel-Lennon was born in India and immigrated with her family to New York at a very young age. She attended SUNY at Stoney Brook and received a B.A. in Psychology and a Teaching Certification in French. Deval graduated in 1990 from the Washington College of Law at American University in Washington, D.C.
She started her career as an Assistant District Attorney in Bronx County, New York. As a prosecutor in New York City, Deval handled hundreds of cases ranging from assaults to homicides. She handled all aspects of prosecution- from arraignment and indictment to conducting jury trials.
In 1999, she brought her litigation experience to the State of Delaware Attorney General's Office. As a Deputy Attorney General she worked in the Division of Family Services unit and handled Child Support matters. She remained with the AG's office until 2005 when she founded her own practice.
